This Greek cheese pie comprises layers of crispy phyllo dough and a filling of feta and Kefalotiri cheeses. If you can’t find Kefalotiri, you can use Parmesan cheese.

Melt 6 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

Whisk in flour until smooth and cook stirring constantly for 2 minutes.

Gradually pour in milk stirring constantly with a whisk or wooden spoon.

Add salt and nutmeg stirring occasionally until white sauce is bubbly and thickened 5 to 10 minutes.

Mash feta cheese in a large bowl with a fork; stir in beaten eggs grated kefalotiri and parsley.

Pour in hot white sauce and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Lightly brush a 9×13-inch baking dish with melted butter.

Ensure that all of the chicken pieces are coated, cover, and chill for at least one hour or overnight.

Achieve a 400°F air fryer temperature (200 degrees C).

In a shallow bowl or pie dish, mix the remaining 1 teaspoon of salt, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the oregano, the pepper, and the cayenne.

Shake off excess buttermilk as you remove the chicken pieces one at a time.

Turn to coat after placing in flour mixture.

Place the coated chicken in the air fryer’s basket, working in batches if necessary to prevent the basket from becoming crowded.

Use this recipe to make this seasonal treat that is suitable for the whole family using fresh pumpkin.

Cut pumpkin into halves and remove seeds.

Cut seeded pumpkin into 3-inch chunks.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Cook pumpkin in boiling water until tender about 20 minutes; drain.

Set pumpkin aside to cool until the skin hardens and the flesh is cool enough to handle.

Scrape pumpkin flesh from skin into a large bowl; transfer to a food processor and blend until smooth.

Put pureed pumpkin into a fine mesh strainer set over a bowl and set aside to drain.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Press pie crusts into pie pans.

Trim dough to overlap edges of pans by about 1/4 inch.

In a sizable bowl, combine the zucchini and onions.

Add the water, then the salt and stir to combine.

Vegetables should soak for at least two hours before being drained and added to a big pot.

Bring yellow mustard, sugar, vinegar, mustard seeds, celery seed, and water to a boil in a pot.

Pour the mixture over the onions and zucchini, then let it stand for an additional two hours.

Put the pot of pickling liquid, spices, and vegetables on the stove and bring to a boil.

In the meantime, check three 1-quart jars for cracks and rust on the rings, and discard any that are damaged.

Vegetables should be cooked for at least five minutes in simmering water.

New, unused lids and rings should be cleaned in warm, soapy water.

Eggs are cooked on top of a fiery tomato and pepper sauce as it simmers slowly to completion. You can eat this for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, and it’s always delicious!

Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

Add onions and mushrooms.

Sprinkle with salt.

Cook and stir until mushrooms release all of their liquid and start to brown about 10 minutes.

Stir in bell peppers and jalapeno pepper.

Cook and stir until peppers begin to soften up about 5 minutes.

Season with cumin paprika turmeric black pepper and cayenne.

Stir and cook to “wake up” the flavors about 1 minute.

Pour in crushed tomatoes and water.

Adjust heat to medium and simmer uncovered until veggies are softened and sweet stirring occasionally 15 to 20 minutes.

Add more water if sauce becomes too thick.

Grease and flour a fluted tube pan.

Whisk flour baking powder baking soda and salt together in a large bowl.

Beat sugar and margarine together in a bowl until creamy.

Add sour cream eggs and 1 teaspoon almond extract to sugar mixture; beat until smooth.

Pour sugar mixture into flour mixture and mix to form a smooth batter.

Pour 1/3 the batter into the prepared pan.

Pour cranberry sauce into a bowl and stir.

Spread 1/2 sauce over batter in the prepared pan.

Pour 1/3 the batter over cranberry sauce and spread second 1/2 cranberry sauce over the batter.

Top with remaining 1/3 cake batter.

An Eastern European delicacy from Georgia known as Khachapuri is homemade bread that has been filled with Muenster cheese. It is perfect for breakfast or as a party snack.

2 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, and salt should be combined in the paddle attachment-equipped bowl of a stand mixer.

In a 1-quart saucepan, combine the milk and margarine.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the milk is very warm and the margarine is mostly melted, about 5 minutes.

On low speed, stir the milk mixture into the flour mixture just until combined.

Increase the speed to medium and beat for two minutes or until smooth.

Beat in the remaining 2 cups of flour until a soft dough forms.

Change to the dough hook and knead for 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Fill a greased bowl with the dough.

To coat, turn over.

Cover and wait about an hour for the amount to double.
