This is a really tasty pinto beans recipe made in the slow cooker. This recipe is great to serve along with enchiladas or to take to a barbecue or potluck.

In a slow cooker, add pinto beans and water to the brim.

Add salt and garlic mixture.

For one hour on high, cook covered.

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until it is evenly browned but still slightly chewy.

Half the fat should be drained.

Cook the onion in the skillet until it is tender.

Jalapenos and tomatoes should be combined, then heated through.

Stirring the beans into the slow cooker after transfer.

Cooking for 4 hours on Low while the slow cooker is covered.

About 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time, combine the beer and cilantro.

Mix 1 cup Swiss green onions and crumbled bacon together in a bowl; divide mixture evenly among tart shells.

Ziti pasta should be added, cooked for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente, then drained.

Top the ziti with the chilli and cheddar cheese.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Generously season pork tenderloin with salt and black pepper.

Heat oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook tenderloin until browned on all sides 2 to 4 minutes per side.

Transfer tenderloin to a plate.

Saute onion with a pinch of salt in the same skillet until just softening 3 to 5 minutes.

Add shallots reduce heat to medium and cook and stir until shallots and onion are golden brown and caramelized about 10 minutes.

Stir thyme into onion mixture; place tenderloin over onion mixture and set plum quarters skin-side down around pork tenderloin.

Transfer skillet to preheated oven.
