Substitute teff flour for wheat flour to make tasty and gluten-free brownies. Walnuts and chocolate chips are an added bonus!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

Toss walnuts and chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon cocoa powder in a bowl until well coated; set aside.

Mix tapioca flour sorghum flour teff flour 1/3 cup cocoa powder xanthan gum and salt together in a separate bowl.

Beat butter and sugar together in a separate large bowl until creamy.

Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.

Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture until fully incorporated.

Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.

Spread batter into the prepared baking pan.

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan about 25 minutes.

Potato gratings are used to make the pie crust for this delectable pie. Then comes a generous amount of Cheddar cheese, followed by a lovely sauteed mixture of grated cauliflower, onion, garlic, thyme, and paprika. Bake until golden brown and crusty.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Grease a shallow 9 inch baking dish or pie pan.

To make crust: Use a cheese cloth to squeeze extra liquid from the grated potatoes.

In a medium size mixing bowl combine potato onion egg salt and flour.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared pie pan and pat it down with a rubber spatula or your fingertips.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Brush the crust with oil and bake for another 10 minutes.

Remove crust from oven and reduce the oven’s temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Everything, including brats, hot dogs, and hamburgers, taste great with this recipe. Add some jalapeno peppers for a little spice if you like it hot.

In a large saucepan, combine the onion, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, pickling spice, sugar, salt, and vinegar.

Over high heat, bring to a boil; then, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for five minutes, stirring now and then.

Fill canning jars with the pepper mixture and hot vinegar, leaving a 1/4-inch headspace.

Screw on the tops firmly and cover with a sterilized lid.

Fill a canner or big stockpot with two inches of water, then add the jars.

After bringing to a boil, lower the heat to medium and gently simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove the jars after 30 minutes and let them cool to room temperature.

Any jars that didn’t seal should be kept chilled.

Refrigerate after opening.

Sift 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour cinnamon baking powder baking soda and salt together in a separate bowl.

Fold 1/3 of the flour mixture gently into the butter mixture with a spatula.

Mix in 1/2 of the buttermilk.

Repeat once more then mix in remaining flour until just combined.

Avoid overmixing.

Pour batter into the prepared pan.

Peel and quarter celery root.

Combine oil lemon juice vinegar salt and pepper in a small bowl.

Pour dressing over celery root.

Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours to intensify flavors.

Stir the crushed tomatoes sweet potatoes carrots chicken broth curry powder cumin chili powder cayenne pepper red pepper flakes cinnamon and black pepper into the slow cooker.

Set the cooker to High and cook for 5 to 6 hours or cook on Low for 10 hours.

Stir in additional chicken broth throughout the cooking time if needed.

This plant-based red lentil chili is packed with fresh vegetables, 2 types of beans, and lots of flavor. It has just a tiny bit of heat from the fresh jalapenos.

In a Dutch oven, warm the oil over medium heat.

Add the following: zucchini, onion, and poblano pepper 10 grams of chili powder Cumin and smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon each.

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until onion is soft and translucent.

Dutch oven zucchini removed and set aside.

Stir in the garlic and jalapeno pepper after adding them to the vegetable mixture.

Insert tomato paste 1 tablespoon each of cumin and chili powder; stir for 2-3 minutes.

Bring to a boil the diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, and salt.

Stir in kidney beans, black beans, and red lentils after the liquid reaches a boil.

Simmer for 15 minutes with lid slightly ajar and heat reduced to medium-low.

To taste, add the remaining cumin and chili powder.

Lamb pairs wonderfully with this divine medley of sweet red peppers and sweet red onions. Before serving, mix in 1/4 cup raisins for a little variety; it’s delicious!

In a hot saucepan over a medium heat combine red peppers onion oil and butter; saute for 2 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking stirring occasionally until the onions and peppers soften.

If desired stir red wine into the vegetables and cook until the wine evaporates; approximately 30 minutes.

Season with salt pepper and basil.
