Add tomatoes crushing each one by hand.

Add salt pepper and red pepper flakes.

Cook stirring every few minutes until sauce starts to thicken 20 to 25 minutes.

Whisk lime juice soy sauce brown sugar fish sauce garlic and chile-garlic sauce together in a bowl.

Mix romaine lettuce mint cilantro and basil together in a bowl; spoon about 6 tablespoons lime juice mixture over romaine mixture.

Toss to coat.

Cut steak into strips and place strips into remaining lime juice mixture; let sit for steak to marinate 1 to 2 minutes.

Place steak on romaine mixture.

This is my original recipe, which can be made with either meat or a vegetarian diet. It freezes well as well; simply thaw, heat, and garnish before serving with cream or yoghurt. Roasting and pureeing are extra steps, but they are worth it because it is delicious. Enjoy!

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Aluminum foil or parchment paper should be used to line a baking sheet.

On the prepared baking sheet, spread out the onion and squash halves.

Foil-wrap the garlic and arrange it with the other vegetables.

Until the squash is tender, roast in the center of the oven for 45 to 60 minutes.

Remove from oven, then wait until it is safe to handle.

Add 1/4 cup of sauce to 6 small oven-safe bowls.

Break 1 egg on top of each and dot with butter.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a dash of paprika for color.
