Baklava-Style Cheesecake Bars
Flaky pastry, a sticky honey-lemon syrup, and crunchy nuts give these baked cheesecake bars a baklava-inspired twist.
Set the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).
A 9×13-inch baking dish should be lined with parchment paper, allowing extra to hang over the sides.
Grease with cooking spray just enough.
Put one sheet of phyllo dough in the pan and press it into the bottom before brushing it with butter.
Add the remaining 11 phyllo sheets, brushing butter on top of each layer.
To keep phyllo from drying out while working, keep it covered with a damp paper towel when not in use.
For about 5 minutes, bake in the preheated oven until light golden brown.
Place on a wire rack and give 10 to 15 minutes for it to slightly cool.
Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F while the phyllo cools (165 degrees C)
