Chicken and Broccoli Braid
This clever recipe makes innovative use of prepared crescent roll dough. A cheesy chicken and chopped broccoli mixture fills the center.

Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees F).

Combine the chicken, broccoli, red bell pepper, and garlic in a large bowl.

Almonds, onion, dill weed, cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise.

The crescent roll dough should be unrolled and spread out on a medium baking sheet.

Perforations should be pinched together to create a single dough sheet.

Cut 1-inch-wide strips starting on the long sides and moving toward the center with a knife or pair of scissors.

The cut strips should form a fringe down each side of a solid strip that is about 3 inches wide in the center.

Along the center strip, spread the chicken mixture.

Alternating strips from each side, fold the side strips over the chicken mixture.

To seal, pinch or twist.
