Easy Brazilian Black Bean Stew
Bacon, green bell peppers, and cilantro are combined in this recipe for feijoada, a popular black bean stew from Brazil, to make a quick and simple meal.
Cook bacon in a pot for 3 to 5 minutes, or until almost crisp.
Cook and stir the bacon, onion, and green pepper for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
Garlic, bay leaf, and cilantro should be combined, and the mixture should take about a minute.
Stir in the beans, chicken broth, vinegar, salt, pepper, and hot sauce to the onion mixture.
Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
If you want the beans to be soupier, increase the amount of chicken broth.
