Easy French Toast Waffles
French toast waffles are the best of both worlds. Brioche slices dipped in a maple-flavored French toast batter are pressed into shape in a waffle iron.
As directed by the manufacturer, preheat a waffle iron.
In a large bowl, stir together the milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
One brioche slice should be dipped into the bowl and gently pressed until both sides are coated.
With a slotted spatula, remove the bread from the bowl, letting any egg mixture drip back into the bowl, and place it on a baking sheet with a rim.
Continue with the remaining bread.
Let stand for about 2 minutes to allow egg mixture to soak.
