Italian Style Turkey Meatloaf
Italian-style bread crumbs and Italian seasoning give turkey meatloaf an Italian flair.

Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

Spray some cooking spray in a baking pan.

In a sizable bowl, combine the turkey, egg, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic, black pepper, and salt.

Form the mixture into a loaf and place it in the ready-to-bake dish.

Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven.

Give the meatloaf about half of the tomato sauce, then bake it for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the center is no longer pink.

A center-inserted instant-read thermometer should register at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees C).

Before slicing the meatloaf to serve, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.

Sliced meatloaf should be served with the remaining tomato sauce, which has been warmed in a small saucepan over medium-low heat while the meatloaf rests.
