Ground beef, onion, mushrooms and noodles, tossed with tomato and mushroom soup and baked with a golden topping of American cheese. This is my favorite recipe and is very good with a tossed salad and garlic bread.

Large pot of lightly salted water should be brought to a boil.

Drain the pasta after cooking it for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it is al dente.

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C.) Put the onion and ground beef in a big, deep skillet.

Cook the meat and onion together at a medium-high heat until they are both evenly browned.

Eliminate extra fat.

Add noodles, 1 cup cheese, condensed tomato soup, condensed mushroom soup, and sliced mushrooms.

Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder for seasoning.

Fill a 9×13-inch baking dish with the liquid.

Add the final 1/2 cup of cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
