Soy sauce and apricot jam are the base for this tasty glaze, but you can also use orange juice or marmalade for a citrus variation.

Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

Brown chicken in heated skillet.

Add chicken broth jam and soy sauce.

Simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is done (no longer pink in the center).

Remove chicken from skillet.

Add 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water to sauce to thicken (equal amounts more of each if you like it thicker).

Return chicken to skillet and turn to coat thoroughly with sauce.

Blueberry crescent rolls made with fresh blueberries rolled into prepared croissants and baked to perfection for a light, delicious pastry. Serve warm with a tall glass of milk.

Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).

On a baking sheet, roll out triangles of crescent-shaped dough.

Each triangle’s widest point should have 1 tablespoon of blueberries on it.

Each roll of blueberries should have 1/2 teaspoon of confectioners’ sugar added to them.

Roll up each crescent around the blueberries starting with the wide end; pinch both sides to seal completely.

For about 12 minutes, bake in the preheated oven until golden.

Take out and let cool for five minutes on a wire rack.

Dust the remaining confectioners’ sugar over the pastries.

Pour on vanilla frosting.

Whisk egg and water together in a small bowl until mixture is consistent.

Put panko in a shallow bowl.
