This pithiviers, a French specialty from the Orléans region, is made from puff pastry and frangipane (rich almond paste).

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine butter and sugar in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until well combined.

Add almond flour 2 egg yolks and rum; mix until frangipane is smooth.

Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into 2 equal circles.

Place the first circle on the baking sheet and pierce several times with a fork.

Spread frangipane on the circle leaving a 1/2 inch border.

Brush uncovered puff pastry edge with a little water and lay the second puff pastry circle on top.

Seal the edges by pressing together.

Honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and other savory flavors are slowly cooked into this spiced apple butter. Regular vanilla extract can also be used, but Mexican vanilla extract gives the dish a smooth, rich flavor.

Apples are added to a slow cooker.

Salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice are sprinkled with sugar.

For two hours on High, cook covered.

Apples are mashed with a potato masher or fork before being mixed with molasses, lemon juice, honey, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and butter flavoring.

Cook apple mixture on Low for 9 to 11 hours, stirring frequently, until it has thickened and turned a deep brown color.

Cook for an additional hour or two without the cover.

Press crescent roll dough into the prepared jelly roll pan to form a crust.

Bake in the preheated oven until dough is fully cooked and golden brown about 10 minutes.

Let cool completely.

Combine sour cream cream cheese ranch seasoning mix dill and garlic salt in a medium mixing bowl.

Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of cooled crust.

Arrange broccoli radish onion bell pepper carrot and celery on top of the cream cheese mixture.

One at a time, beat well after each addition before adding the eggs.

Mix the salt and baking soda in the flour.

Mix the flour mixture and peanut butter mixture together.

Add the chopped nuts and stir.

For two hours, cover and chill the dough.

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C)

Combine the lamb and beef in a large bowl.

Add cooled vegetable mixture and stir to combine.

Mix in bread crumbs cilantro eggs and mint.

Transfer meatloaf mixture to a 1 1/2-quart loaf pan and set in a baking pan.

Pour water in the baking pan to reach halfway up the sides of the loaf pan.
