Russian Pelmeni
Making pelmeni, a traditional meat-filled Russian dumpling, is a popular family activity in Russia during the long winter months.
In a measuring cup, add the egg, vegetable oil, salt, and just enough water to make one cup.
Pour 3 cups of flour into a bowl, add, and knead into a dough that is elastic and smooth.
For 30 minutes, rest while being covered with a kitchen towel.
Add 1 tablespoon of flour and lightly dust a baking sheet.
Mix the filling thoroughly by hand or with a fork after combining the ground beef, onion, water, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
