Sauted Green Beans with Bacon and Almonds
Any meal will be special if you serve sauteed green beans with crumbled bacon and slivered almonds on top.
In a big skillet over medium-high heat, add the bacon.
Turn over after one side has finished browning to finish cooking.
At this point, add the almonds and cook and stir them until they are a light golden brown.
Leave the bacon drippings in the skillet and remove the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels.
Chop or crumble bacon, then add it back to the skillet.
Put butter and drippings in to melt.
Cook and stir the green beans for about 8 minutes, until they are tender.
