Simple Broccoli and Brie Cheese Quiche
In a rich egg custard, this savory Brie quiche is stuffed with broccoli florets and slices of Brie. You can serve it for lunch, dinner, or brunch.
Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).
Spray cooking oil in a 9-inch pie pan.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, or until soft.
Add the garlic and cook for about a minute, or until fragrant.
Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes, or until it begins to soften.
Get rid of the heat.
In a bowl, combine the cream, eggs, salt, nutmeg, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
The base and sides of the pie pan should be lined with puff pastry.
Trim any extra pastry.
Apply mustard to the floor.
Brie slices and broccoli mixture should be layered before the egg mixture is added on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
