Slow Cooker Cheese Steaks
Tri-tip simmered in the slow cooker for hours makes a mighty tasty cheese steak sandwich.
Fill the slow cooker crock with the beef.
Over the beef, add Worcestershire, vinegar, and beef stock.
3–4 hours on Low should be enough to cook the beef to medium.
Don’t forget to remove the cooked beef from the broth.
Keep the broth.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
In a sizable skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Once the mushrooms have started to soften in the oil, add the green pepper and onion.
About 5 minutes of stirring and cooking should soften the vegetables.
Thinly slice the beef.
On the rolls, distribute the beef and vegetables equally.
Add two slices of cheese to each sandwich and wrap in foil.
