Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef
This Chinese restaurant favorite is made with tender chunks of flank steak, onion, garlic, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce.
Fill a sealable plastic bag with cornstarch and flank steak.
Shake the bag to distribute the cornstarch evenly over the flank steak.
Give the steak 10 minutes to rest.
Over medium-high heat, warm up the olive oil in a big skillet.
Cook and stir the steak for 2 to 4 minutes, or until it is evenly browned.
In a slow cooker, combine hoisin sauce, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and flank steak.
Cook for about 4 hours on the low setting.
