Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls
That’s it! I tried a lot of recipes before coming up with this one. excellent for sandwiches with barbecued beef. Leave out the onion ingredients if you prefer plain rolls.
Put the milk, water, butter, salt, and onion powder in a bowl.
In the bread machine’s pan, add 3 tablespoons each of dried onion, potato, flour, and yeast in the order advised by the manufacturer.
Choose the Dough cycle, then hit Start.
After the cycle is finished, take the dough out and knead it on a surface that has been lightly dusted with flour.
Form into balls after cutting into 8 equal pieces.
The balls should be gently flattened until they are 4 inches in diameter.
If they continue to contract, give them a moment to unwind before attempting to flatten them.
Place in a single layer on a baking sheet and cover with a towel.
Place in a draft-free area to rise for about 40 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
