Twisted Venison Chili
With a venison and Italian sausage base and a twisted kick from a sweet, smoky, spicy mixture of veggies and spices, this chili is bursting with flavor.
In a skillet, warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cook and stir the venison for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is browned and crumbly.
Drain and get rid of grease.
In a different skillet, heat the final tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cook and stir the sausage for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is browned and crumbly.
Drain and get rid of grease.
In a big pot, mix sausage and venison.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook and stir the garlic, onion, and jalapenos for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are soft.
Transfer the mixture with caution to a food processor, then pulse briefly.
