Ukrainian Goulash
Beef, onions, and garlic are combined in a sauce made of steak sauce and paprika in this Ukrainian interpretation of beef stew.
Shortening should be melted in a big pot on a medium heat.
Cook beef in hot shortening for 5 to 7 minutes, or until thoroughly browned.
Add salt, pepper, onion, garlic, and paprika to the beef; cook and stir for an additional five minutes.
Stir the beef mixture in the pot as you add the water and steak sauce.
The mixture should simmer for about 15 minutes after which the heat should be reduced to low.
In a small bowl, whisk the flour and water; add the mixture to the beef.
Keep stew simmering for 2 to 3 minutes or until it starts to slightly thicken.
