The flavor of watermelon comes through beautifully in this homemade sherbet recipe.
In a sizable mixing bowl, combine the watermelon, sugar, lemon juice, and salt; stir to coat thoroughly.
Refrigerate the bowl for 30 minutes while it is covered in plastic wrap.
Return the mixture to the bowl after smoothing it out in a blender.
A saucepan will need the cold water in it.
Gelatin should be sprinkled over cold water and left to stand for a minute.
Cook the saucepan for two minutes on low heat.
Blended watermelon mixture and gelatin mixture should be combined.
Beat the mixture with an electric hand mixer at medium speed after adding the heavy cream until it is fluffy.
