Whole Wheat Scones with Oatmeal and Blueberries
Although fresh blueberries and rolled oats are included in this recipe for whole wheat scones, you can alter it however you like.
Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
Grease a baking sheet very lightly.
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Using a pastry cutter or two knives, slice in the butter cubes.
Egg and half-and-half should be combined in a bowl.
Add to the mixture of flour and butter.
Oats and blueberries are folded in.
Then divide the dough in half and spread it out on a lightly dusted surface.
Cut each half into 8 wedges after rolling each half into a circle.
Scatter raw sugar on top of the scones before transferring them to the prepared baking sheet.
12 to 15 minutes of baking time in the preheated oven should accomplish this.
