Pork Chops with Apples and Onions
Cooked in a sweet sauce with onions and apples, succulent pork chops that have been spice-rubbed to perfection are delicious all year long.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, sage, garlic, thyme, salt, allspice, and paprika.
2/3 of the spice mixture should be set aside for later use.
The remaining spice mixture should be sprinkled over the pork chops, covering all sides.
Over medium-high heat, warm up the olive oil in a big skillet.
Add the pork chops and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or until browned.
Take the pork out of the pan.
Cook the onion in the skillet for three minutes or until it is tender.
Cook and stir the apples for an additional two minutes.
Bring to a boil after adding the reserved spice mixture, brown sugar, and apple juice.
