Beat the eggs and 1 1/2 cups sugar in a sizable bowl.

Add the yeast mixture along with the nutmeg, orange, and vanilla extracts.

Add the salt and 3 cups of flour and stir.

Add 1/3 of the milk mixture and stir.

Two alternate additions of the remaining flour mixture and milk should be incorporated.

For about 45 minutes, cover the bowl and allow the dough to double.

Prepare the topping by combining 1/3 cup sugar and 1/2 cup butter in a small bowl until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
