A bounty of cilantro and fresh-ground peppercorns enlivens Chef John’s ping gai, an easy-to-make Laotian grilled chicken served with a sweet, garlicky dipping sauce.

Use a mortar and pestle, electric grinder, or spice mill to coarsely grind the peppercorns.

Transfer the finely chopped cilantro to a mixing bowl.

Add the cayenne, freshly ground pepper, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce.

Chicken thighs should be added and hand-tossed until thoroughly coated.

For 4 to 12 hours, marinate in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap.

To make the dipping sauce, mix the rice vinegar, lime juice, garlic, sambal, fish sauce, cilantro, and honey.

Keep chilled until you’re ready to use.

Grill should be preheated to medium-high heat with a light coating of oil.

In a big bowl, combine sugar and yeast with warm water.

Salt and 2 cups of flour are stirred in.

Add the last 1/2 cup of flour, stirring thoroughly after each addition.

When the dough is ready, turn it out onto a surface that has been lightly dusted with flour and knead it for 8 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.

Large bowl should be lightly oiled before adding dough and turning to coat with oil.

Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm area for about an hour, or until volume has doubled.

Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans very lightly.

Place the bread, milk, and sugar.

In a bread maker, combine 1/4 cup melted butter, egg, yeast, and salt; select the “dough” cycle, and then press Start.

Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).

Line a 9×12-inch baking dish with parchment paper and grease it.

Punch down the dough and transfer it to a floured work surface.

Shape the dough into a broad rectangle.

Top the dough with 2 tablespoons of softened butter and chocolate-hazelnut spread.

On top of the chocolate layer, scatter hazelnuts.

Cut the log-shaped dough into 12 equal pieces after rolling the dough around the filling.

Rolls should be arranged in the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the rolls are thoroughly cooked.

These incredibly simple salsa verde chilaquiles transform leftover chicken for brunch and are baked with cracked eggs on top for extra deliciousness.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add onion and jalapeno; cook stirring occasionally until onion begins to brown about 10 minutes.

Transfer to a very large bowl.

Add salsa chicken chips olives and cilantro.

Toss to coat breaking chips slightly.

Transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Use the bottom of a custard or measuring cup to make 8 indentations in the chip mixture.

Crack 1 egg into each indentation.

Sprinkle eggs evenly with salt and black pepper.

Bake until eggs are set and tortilla chips are softened and browned at edges 20 to 25 minutes.

Sprinkle with cotija cheese radishes and avocado.

Stir in the Cheddar cheese and green onion.

Quinoa is added to the chicken mixture.

Fill prepared mini-muffin cups with the mixture.

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the edges are browned.

This is my mom’s recipe, and it is delicious! It can be served as either a salad or dessert. This recipe can also be used to make parfaits. Simply layer the salad, extra whipped topping, crushed cookies and repeat. Top parfaits with a dollop of whipped topping. Or, to serve as a pie, pour into a graham cracker or cookie crust and chill before serving.

In a large bowl mix together the pudding mix and the buttermilk.

Fold in the whipped topping.

Mix in the pineapple chunks and mandarin oranges.

Chill until ready to serve.

Crush cookies and mix in just before serving.

Fettuccine pasta is smothered in a creamy roasted beet and Parmesan cheese sauce in this vegetarian dinner dish.

Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

In a bowl, mix the beets, onions, and garlic cloves.

Toss the vegetables in the olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Onto a baking sheet, transfer.

For about an hour, roast in the preheated oven until thoroughly cooked and tender.

After taking the beets out of the oven, let them cool for 10 to 15 minutes before handling.

Delete the beet skins.

Mixture should be added to a food processor.

Blend in the lemon juice and vegetable broth.

Move into a saucepan.

The beet mixture in the saucepan should be mixed with heavy cream.

About 5 minutes should pass before it starts to simmer.

Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Place aside
