Chef John’s Pecan Pie
The pecan pie made by Chef John has the ideal ratio of nuts to sticky toffee filling and a delightfully flaky crust.

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

In a 9 1/2-inch glass pie dish, roll out the pie dough and crimp the edges.

Pie weights are placed on top of the parchment paper and distributed evenly across the bottom of the dough.

The dough is covered in parchment paper, which is pressed down to line the dough.

For 20 minutes, bake in the preheated oven.

Pie weights and parchment paper should be placed in a bowl.

Bake the crust for an additional 10 minutes or until it is lightly golden.

Organize the pecans on a baking sheet.

Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
