Fresh Cherry Crisp
a cherry crisp with an oatmeal crunch topping made with sour pie cherries. Ice cream and this are delicious warm from the oven. Cherries can be used either fresh, frozen, or canned.
Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).
Cherries, 1 1/2 cups white sugar, and 4 tablespoons flour should be combined in a big bowl.
Pour contents into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Combine 1 1/2 cups of flour, oats, and brown sugar in a medium bowl.
Add shortening and butter, and mix until crumbly.
cherry-covered with a sprinkle.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until topping is golden brown, in a preheated oven.
