Miso Maple-Glazed Salmon
This straightforward glaze combines sweet maple syrup with salty and savory miso paste. You only need a few drops of hot sauce to finish this ridiculously simple yet elegant dish. The rice vinegar unites the two.
Heat up the oven’s broiler while positioning the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
Miso paste, seasoned rice vinegar, maple syrup, and hot chili sauce are all combined in a bowl and whisked.
Oil a skillet that has been preheated in the oven.
Salmon fillets should be placed skin-side down in a cold skillet.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes at medium heat, or until the skin begins to sizzle.
Take the pan off the heat.
Miso glaze should be applied to each salmon fillet.
Cook skillet under the preheated broiler for about 8 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through.
