Use an electric mixer to beat until fluffy and light, about 3 minutes.

Beat for an additional minute after adding the egg whites and vanilla extract.

Add the flour mixture to the bowl gradually and stir until combined.

Pecans and toffee bits should be thoroughly mixed in before adding.

Place the bowl in the fridge and let it chill there for at least a half-hour.

Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).

Dispose of 2 large baking sheets that have been lined with parchment paper
