This is my mom’s recipe, and it is delicious! It can be served as either a salad or dessert. This recipe can also be used to make parfaits. Simply layer the salad, extra whipped topping, crushed cookies and repeat. Top parfaits with a dollop of whipped topping. Or, to serve as a pie, pour into a graham cracker or cookie crust and chill before serving.

In a large bowl mix together the pudding mix and the buttermilk.

Fold in the whipped topping.

Mix in the pineapple chunks and mandarin oranges.

Chill until ready to serve.

Crush cookies and mix in just before serving.

Fettuccine pasta is smothered in a creamy roasted beet and Parmesan cheese sauce in this vegetarian dinner dish.

Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

In a bowl, mix the beets, onions, and garlic cloves.

Toss the vegetables in the olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Onto a baking sheet, transfer.

For about an hour, roast in the preheated oven until thoroughly cooked and tender.

After taking the beets out of the oven, let them cool for 10 to 15 minutes before handling.

Delete the beet skins.

Mixture should be added to a food processor.

Blend in the lemon juice and vegetable broth.

Move into a saucepan.

The beet mixture in the saucepan should be mixed with heavy cream.

About 5 minutes should pass before it starts to simmer.

Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Place aside

In a blender combine the oil vinegar sugar dill weed salt onion powder garlic powder dry mustard and pepper.

Blend until smooth cover and refrigerate until chilled.

This recipe for a simple, tasty side dish uses parsnips that have been mashed with butter, cream, and sherry.

Put the parsnips in a big pot, add water to cover, and bring to a boil.

Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until tender, reducing heat to medium-low.

Drain, then let it cool.

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Parsnips, melted butter, sherry, heavy whipping cream, salt, and white sugar are all combined and thoroughly blended in a bowl.

Place in a baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and top with cubes of butter.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until golden.

Torsk is a Scandinavian dish of poached and broiled cod with butter. You can use frozen cod; defrosting is not necessary.

Set the broiler to high.

Grease a cookie sheet very lightly.

In a big saucepan, combine salt, sugar, and water.

Add the fillets to the water mixture; if necessary, add more water to completely cover the fillets.

Over a medium-high flame, bring water to a boil.

3 to 5 minutes of boiling.

Fillets should be taken out of the water and dried on paper towels.

Paprika is sprinkled after 6 tablespoons of melted butter have been applied.

For 8 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness, broil fillets in a preheated broiler until they are golden brown.

Using the remaining melted butter, serve

An excellent soup that is simple to make! This filling, hearty dish is cooked with beans, turkey, and bacon.

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat and cook the bacon turkey and onion until bacon is evenly brown and onion is tender.

Mix the tomato puree brown sugar and mustard into the pot.

Season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

Mix the kidney beans and cannellini beans into the soup.

Add water to keep the ingredients covered if needed.

Continue to cook stirring occasionally until beans are heated through.
