Your entire family will adore this hearty chicken casserole with nacho cheese-flavored corn chips as the crust.

Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish very lightly.

Corn chip crumbs should be distributed and pressed into the baking dish’s bottom.

Over medium-high heat, melt the butter in a sizable skillet.

Cook and stir the onion in the melted butter for 6 to 7 minutes, or until it is tender.

Stir the cream of chicken soup with the tomato dice.

In a big bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup with green chiles, milk, sour cream, chilli powder, and cumin.

Stir in the cooked onion and chicken.

Add Cheddar cheese on top after pouring mixture over corn chips.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes in a preheated oven, or until bubbling and cheese is melted.

10 minutes should pass before serving.

Crispy, pan-fried butternut squash cakes from Chef John are a delectable side dish or appetizer.

Over medium heat, warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet.

Add the onion and stir while cooking for 5 minutes or until onion is soft.

Set apart for cooling.

Season the butternut squash with curry powder, cumin, sea salt, and black pepper in a big bowl.

Stir in the egg, garbanzo-fava bean flour, and corn flour after tossing with a fork.

Include the cooled onions.

A skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat.

In the pan, spoon about 1/4 cup of the butternut squash mixture.

Make a patty that is 1/4 inch thick by flattening.

About 3 minutes per side, pan fry until crisp and browned.

Repeat with the remaining mixture of squash.

My great-grandmother Johns adapted this recipe, which was originally from Cornwall, England. It was originally made in butcher paper and given to coal miners. Until the miners were ready to eat, the firm pastry shell would preserve the juicy contents. Coca-Cola and relishes were served with food by my grandmother. Instead of using the pastry recipe, you can make these more quickly by using chilled pie crusts.

Mix the flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl.

Using a fork or pastry blender, stir in butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.

Using a fork, stir in cold water until the substance can form a ball.

After a few rounds of kneading, divide the pastry into two.

At this point, pastry can be stored in the fridge for later use.

Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

Roll out each pastry half into a 10-inch circle on a surface that has been lightly dusted with flour.

This rice pudding recipe couldn’t be easier when made in your Instant Pot or other multi-functional pressure cooker. Raisins add sweetness and texture.

Rinse rice until water runs clear.

Strain out most of the water and add rice to a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot).

Add milk water vanilla extract cinnamon and salt and stir well.

Close and lock the lid.

Select the porridge function according to manufacturer’s instructions; set timer for 20 minutes.

Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer’s instructions for 10 minutes.

Release remaining pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer’s instructions about 5 minutes.

Unlock and remove the lid.

Stir sweetened condensed milk into the rice pudding until combined.

Stir in raisins and serve immediately.

A nice rhubarb dessert with a buttery crust, a rhubarb layer, a baked cream cheese layer, and a sour cream layer. It takes just one bowl (used 4 times), rhubarb, and some common pantry items to get this dessert on the table.

Set oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).

An 11×7-inch baking dish should be greased.

One cup of flour, one tablespoon of sugar, and one stick of softened butter should be thoroughly combined in a bowl before being pressed into the bottom of the baking dish.

For about 10 minutes, or until the crust begins to brown, bake the crust in the preheated oven.

Take the crust off.

lower the oven’s temperature to 350°F (175 degrees C).

Mix 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup flour thoroughly in the same bowl before adding the rhubarb and tossing to coat.

Over the baked crust, spread the rhubarb mixture.

Spread the creamy cream cheese mixture over the rhubarb using the same bowl that you used to combine the egg, 1/2 cup sugar, and cream cheese.

For a quick and tasty savory snack or side, make traditional Chinese scallion pancakes at home with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry!

In a bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm water.

Mix the dough with a spatula after adding 1 cup of flour.

In a different bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup flour, 1 cup hot water, 2 tablespoons oil, and salt until the mixture resembles dough.

Add the dough from step 1 and combine, forming a ball and adding flour as necessary.

Place the dough ball on a lightly dusted work surface and let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes with a warm, damp towel over it.

Slice the dough ball in half.

Sprinkle half the scallions on each after rolling them out.

Each piece should be rolled into a tube and then cut in half.

Roll into large pancakes and flatten, if necessary dusting with flour.

This vegan recipe for cheery sweet potato and apple medley is a wonderful side dish for Thanksgiving dinner.

Remove sweet potatoes from oven; leave oven on.

Coat a deep 1 1/2-quart baking casserole with oil.

Arrange 1/2 the sweet potato slices on the bottom.

Drizzle with 1/2 of the melted vegan margarine followed by 1/2 of the maple syrup.

Top with apple slices and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and cloves.

Repeat layers.

Pour apple juice on top.

Cover casserole with a lid or aluminum foil.

Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

A skillet should be heated to medium-high.

In the heated skillet, brown the pork chops for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

Put chops that have been seared in a casserole dish.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, onion, and maple syrup.

Put the chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and stir to combine.

Pour the mixture over the pork chops.

For about 45 minutes, bake the chops in a preheated oven until they are no longer pink in the center.

That’s it! I tried a lot of recipes before coming up with this one. excellent for sandwiches with barbecued beef. Leave out the onion ingredients if you prefer plain rolls.

Put the milk, water, butter, salt, and onion powder in a bowl.

In the bread machine’s pan, add 3 tablespoons each of dried onion, potato, flour, and yeast in the order advised by the manufacturer.

Choose the Dough cycle, then hit Start.

After the cycle is finished, take the dough out and knead it on a surface that has been lightly dusted with flour.

Form into balls after cutting into 8 equal pieces.

The balls should be gently flattened until they are 4 inches in diameter.

If they continue to contract, give them a moment to unwind before attempting to flatten them.

Place in a single layer on a baking sheet and cover with a towel.

Place in a draft-free area to rise for about 40 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

I created this rich, creamy dessert for a friend who couldn’t decide between cheesecake and banana cream pie for her birthday. Although it takes a little more time to prepare, the vanilla cream topping makes the dessert.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Grease a 9-inch springform pan’s sides.

Mix the crushed vanilla wafer cookies, chopped walnuts, and melted butter in a medium bowl.

Put some pressure on the prepared pan’s bottom.

Stir cream cheese to soften it in a big bowl.

Smoothly incorporate 1 1/8 cups of sugar and flour into the cream cheese.

One at a time, beat in the eggs, mixing thoroughly after each addition.

Add mashed banana, banana liqueur, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla after mixing in the sour cream.

Pour on top of the springform pan’s crust.
